Speed up for the mass production
High speed paper machines, computers and operators work like a single body.
This is why Hongwon paper is so special.
The main target in this step is to achieve a mass production.
In other words, it is to maximize the amount of paper production per unit hour with improving the quality of paper.
Hongwon set up two targets to achieve a mass production with high quality.
First target was to establish a production system with high speed.
Hongwon made it possible to run a paper machine, PM2, at a speed of 1000m/min.
This is a result of harmony among machines, operators and skills of maintenance.
Hongwon achieved a speed of 1000m/min by investments for a development of highly advanced production system and Hongwon already started new investments for a higher speed of paper machines.
Second target to be solved for a mass production was to build up a quality control system with computers.
It is not possible to produce high quality paper from a high speed paper machine without helps of computers.
Hongwon maintains an optimal status for caliper, weight and moisture profiles even at the speed of 1000m/min by a perfect centrally controlled computer system called DCS system.
